My Story
Welcome to The Comfort Farm. My name is Marie Knight and I am repurposing my life and things around me. The repurposing actually started with taking objects most throw away such as light bulbs and pallets and make them into decorative items such as vintage signs and Christmas ornaments. Since I have started doing this I have had to repurpose my work life also due to the times. See I have been laid off 3 times since 2009. Most people would have gotten a complex, but I think that I was supposed to be doing something other than what I was doing the other two times so I was given a third chance.
So this now brings me to The Comfort Farm. I have had it for quite some time. This has been my home for 10 years It has given me comfort and solitude in the good times and the bad. It has silently waited for me to decide what I should do with my life. The Comfort Farm has known all along that my path always comes back to home. So now on top of my repurposed crafts I am working more in my kitchen doing things that I love. Maybe this is what I am supposed to do all along. Who knows. All I can do is repurpose myself and go from there.You can read my blogs about my daily meanderings with arts and crafts, cooking, or heaven knows what. I encourage you to visit often.
